What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective Inpatient, Outpatient/Community care that reflects current standards of Physiotherapy practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
Provision of specialist assessment, intervention and management of people with cardiac and respiratory conditions, including coordinating the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services at Kempsey District Hospital, as well as providing an in reach physiotherapy service to KDH medical wards
About You
You present yourself as a physiotherapist with a solid academic foundation, holding a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy and the qualifications required for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. You speak with the confidence of someone who has built extensive clinical expertise, particularly in the management of cardiac and respiratory conditions across both acute and chronic settings, and you emphasise your commitment to delivering high‑quality cardiopulmonary care aligned with best‑practice standards. You highlight your ability to communicate with clarity and purpose, navigate consultation and conflict with professionalism, and contribute meaningfully within a multidisciplinary team. You describe the pride you take in supervising and teaching students and staff, and your dedication to upholding the Physiotherapy Board of Australia’s Code of Conduct. You also make it clear that quality improvement and service evaluation are part of how you practise, always looking for ways to refine and elevate care. And, with a practical nod to the realities of clinical work in NSW, you note that you hold a current driver’s licence, ready to meet the demands of the role wherever they take you.
