We're seeking a passionate
Mental Health Occupational Therapist who wants to be part of an innovative interdisciplinary team and help pioneer a new standard of
trauma-informed mental healthcare for our first responders.
First responder trauma-informed care is at the forefront of our mental health services. At Aegis Health, our state-of-the-art facility and approach creates a safe, respectful and profession-aware environment where first responders can feel understood, build trust and engage in recovery-focused care alongside others who share similar lived experiences.
We understand that first responders often carry the weight of repeated exposure to operational stressors and potentially traumatic events, and that seeking support can be shaped by privacy concerns, workplace culture and the unique ways trauma can present in this population.
We are proud to offer a dedicated
first responder-only ward at Aegis Health Clinic with specialised group programs for active and previously serving police officers, firefighters, paramedics, defence force personnel, emergency services personnel and others within the first responder community.
