Maths & English Tutor (Prep to Year 8) Schoolola Tarneit is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to support students from Prep to Year 8 in Maths and English. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, assist students in achieving their academic goals, and create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions in Maths and English aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
Assess students' learning needs and tailor lessons to individual abilities.
Assist students with homework, literacy, numeracy, and exam preparation.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate learning records.
Provide regular feedback to parents and centre management.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Prepare lesson materials and learning activities as required.
Support Schoolola's educational programs and student development initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of primary and middle school Maths and English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students of varying learning abilities.
Previous tutoring, teaching, Kinder Teacher, or educational experience is highly regarded.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one. Reliable, professional, and passionate about helping children succeed.
