About the role:
You’ll provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, Strategy Division within a fast-paced, governance-heavy environment. This is a proactive EA role where you’ll manage complex priorities, anticipate needs, and support the delivery of divisional outcomes aligned to EPA’s strategic priorities.
In this role you will:

Manage a complex, high-volume diary and inbox, proactively prioritising competing demands

Provide end-to-end executive support including meetings, travel, briefings and correspondence

Coordinate governance processes, committees and senior stakeholder meetings (agendas, papers, minutes)

Build strong relationships across government and external stakeholders, supporting effective engagement

Anticipate priorities, identify issues early and drive process improvements to support workflow

Provide responsive, high-quality support in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Skills and experience:
-
Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive support to senior leaders in complex environments (desirable 5+ years’ experience)

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

High level discretion, professionalism and sound judgement when handling sensitive information

A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and confidently manage upwards (including pushing back where needed)

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working across internal and external senior stakeholders

Strong Microsoft Office capability and experience supporting governance processes, including structured meetings, committees and secretariat support (government or regulated environment experience desirable)
