What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

We are seeking experienced and motivated nurses and midwives with demonstrated neonatal intensive care and Special Care Nursery skills, who are passionate about providing safe, evidence-based care in a regional setting. About You
You present yourself as a confident, capable clinician with a clear commitment to safe, coordinated and compassionate midwifery care. You describe someone who holds current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, bringing well‑developed skills and sound clinical judgement to an acute hospital environment. You highlight your ability to deliver midwifery care with competence and adaptability, drawing on proven problem‑solving skills to optimise outcomes for women, babies and families.
You emphasise your strength in clinical communication, using information technology alongside clear written, verbal and interpersonal communication to support safe, coordinated care. You position yourself as someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary team, planning and coordinating midwifery care that is outcome‑focused and responsive to patient needs.
You also make it clear that you are committed to the realities of clinical practice, including participation in a seven‑day rotating roster with night duty and public holiday coverage, demonstrating reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.
