We work closely with real estate agencies, homeowners and investors to coordinate renovation, repair and presentation improvements that maximise property value prior to sale.
Our services involve coordinating trades, managing renovation projects, and overseeing construction activities to ensure properties are delivered in market-ready condition on time and within budget.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team and assist with our client's residential construction and renovation projects.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will work across residential construction, renovation and maintenance projects varying in size and duration. They will work as part of a core team and be responsible for constructing, repairing and renovating wooden and modern material-based structures.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:
- Report to the head of delivery and project manager on site.
- Interpret and work from construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements and materials needed.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and other building materials using hand and power tools.
- Prepare layouts and organising materials for construction and installation works.
- Construct and erect wall frames, roof frames, sub-flooring, floorboards, decking and other structural components.
- Install exterior and interior cladding, wall linings, sheathing, doors, window frames and related fixtures.
- Verify the alignment, level, and structural integrity of frameworks and completed installations.
- Fabricate and assemble timber structures and fittings ready for installation on site.
- Constructg and dismantle concrete formwork where required.
- Carry out repair, maintenance, and renovation carpentry works.
- Install and fit prefabricated building components and fixtures.
- Work with a range of materials including timber, laminates, plastics, perspex, and light metal products.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of tools is conducted regularly.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must demonstrate:
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification; and
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant Carpentry experience.
In addition, the following experience and skills are required:
- Proven experience in carpentry and construction works.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Competency in the use of carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately to measurements and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Additional requirements:
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid driver's licence.
- Knowledge of NSW building compliance and construction regulations preferred.
- Working rights in Australia.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
