About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Motor Vehicle Parts and Accessories Fitter (General) to join our automotive team in Hampstead Gardens, South Australia. The person will install and fit different vehicle parts and accessories while making sure the work is completed as per Australian Standards.
Sponsorship opportunities may be available for suitable candidates depending on eligibility and business needs.
Job Duties
- Install and replace vehicle parts and accessories.
- Fit accessories such as:
- Bull bars
- Tow bars
- Roof racks
- Audio systems
- Vehicle lights
- Safety equipment
- Interior and exterior accessories
- Read and understand fitting instructions and documents provided with accessories before installation.
- Check and inspect fitted parts to make sure they are working properly.
- Follow workplace safety rules and company procedures.
- Use workshop tools and equipment correctly.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Complete job reports and required paperwork.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A relevant Certificate II qualification or higher, or equivalent experience.
OR
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
Additional Requirement
- Applicants must be able to read and understand instructions, manuals, and documents that come with accessories to ensure proper fitting and installation.
