About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hands-on Sheet Metal Assembly Worker to join their team in Penrith. This role involves assembling sheet metal products, reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and ensuring work is completed to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Measure, assemble, and fit sheet metal components.

Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, presses, and other equipment.

Conduct quality checks and make minor adjustments when required.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Assist with packing and preparing completed products for dispatch.

Work towards production targets while following Lean manufacturing practices.
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in sheet metal assembly, fabrication, or a similar manufacturing role.

Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.

Experience using hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Physically fit and able to lift and move materials safely.

Forklift licence or trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.

Casual hourly rate of $37 - $40 per hour (dep on experience) + Super
