About the role
As the Head Radiographer in MRI at the Repat Health Precinct, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality MRI services to patients and clients. You will be responsible for setting the professional standards, objectives, and priorities of the MRI Department, ensuring that services are safe, effective, and aligned with best practice. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping the future of MRI services while supporting excellence in patient care.

About You
You are an experienced MRI professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for high-quality imaging services.
- Degree in Medical Imaging and MRI Accreditation
- Extensive experience across complex MRI procedures

Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia. SCSS encompasses BreastScreen SA, SA Dental, SA Medical Imaging, SA Pathology, and SA Pharmacy.
South Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) is the largest public imaging provider in Australia! With a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional imaging services provided by a multidisciplinary team, SA Medical Imaging provides care to public and private inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients.
The RHP has undergone significant redevelopment and refurbishment to turn the site into a thriving health precinct, providing a range of health and wellbeing services. The precinct is now open to the community with a town square, cafés and a playground established for patients, families, and the community to utilise.
The medical imaging department is also growing – with building under way as part of a service expansion that includes three more Ultrasound rooms, a new MRI and a second CT.
