About us:
Tully Hospital provides emergency, general medical, allied health, and other services to the local population. Supporting clinical and diagnostic services available onsite include x-ray, ultrasound, allied health, and pharmacy services. The hospital offers overnight bed capacity of 22 inpatient beds, as well as community health and nursing-led clinics.
Located two hours south of Cairns, Tully sits at the southern end of the health service's boundary in the Cassowary Coast region. The area is well known for its spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails, beautiful rainforests, and beachside fishing spots.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will....
Use effective communication skills to influence and convince others in a mature, confident manner to achieve positive client outcomes, including providing informant and/or advice on clinical issues within the scope of practice.
Be accountable for planning, provision and communication of nursing/midwifery practice including the evaluation and required revision of practice, and for staff and client safety across a shift.
Maintain sound knowledge of relevant legislation, guideline and standards specifically relating to nursing/midwifery practice and ensure safe, appropriate application of same.
