The Opportunity
We are currently looking for Asset Management Analyst (GIS/Asset Data) to join our innovative, dynamic Asset Reliability team on a permanent basis at our Perth Airport Office.
The Role
As the Asset Management Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of railway infrastructure data within Asset Management Systems, maintaining, interrogating, and driving quality metrics to ensure high standards.
- Work with spatial tools to ensure data concurrency across systems, integrating business, asset, and track data to support processes and ensure accurate reporting of network changes.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including but not limited to; Engineering, Technology, Operations, Works Delivery, and contractors to identify, adopt or develop innovative, best practice data solutions and architecture for rail asset maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and refine tools and procedures that enhance data collection quality.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance and data validation, identifying areas for enhancement to minimize backlogs and improve data integrity.
- Engage with emerging technologies to streamline operations and support regional staff in accurately reporting railway asset information.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong integrity and a commitment to quality assurance in data management.
- Strong administrative skills (proficiency in Microsoft programs including PowerBI)
- A keen desire to learn and expand your existing skills by leveraging technologies
- Working knowledge of asset management principles (desirable)
- Linear asset management experience (rail or similar)
- Experience in managing large datasets.
- Experience in GIS systems and system management (e.g. ESRI, desirable)
- WA “C Class” driver’s licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and driven by continuous improvement
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team
