Operations Manager – Electrical & Smart Home

Beachside Electrical Solutions is a high-end residential electrical and smart home automation business based on Sydney's Northern Beaches with great team culture. We specialise in premium smart home systems (Savant, C-Bus, Dynalite), CCTV, access control, intercom, and security and we're growing fast.
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take full ownership of our service and project teams, running the day-to-day operations.
What you'll own:
- Day-to-day coordination and scheduling of our team and projects
- Job costing, quoting and profitability tracking
- Technician accountability - time on tools, job completion, quality control
- Customer communication and job workflow from booking through to invoicing
- Identifying and fixing operational bottlenecks
- Building out and refining service processes as we scale
What we're looking for:
- Electrical Contractor license is required
- Operations management experience in electrical 5+ Years
- Comfortable with job management software and technology
- Strong with numbers, understand job costing, margins, and where profit leaks happen
- A natural at holding a team accountable without micromanaging
- Process-driven system experience
- Confident communicator with trades, suppliers and customers
