Position Overview
Dainty Dental Care is seeking an enthusiastic, patient-focused, and clinically competent Associate Dentist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dentist who enjoys providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care in a modern and supportive practice environment.
The successful candidate will work during our key extended-hours sessions, helping us meet the needs of our growing patient base while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences.
Working Hours
The position requires availability for the following shifts:
- Thursday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions.
- Deliver comprehensive general dentistry services, including restorative, preventive, and emergency care.
- Develop and communicate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants, reception staff, and other clinicians.
- Adhere to all clinical, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients through excellent communication and patient care.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration as a Dentist with AHPRA.
- Current professional indemnity insurance.
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- High standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical governance.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in a private dental practice setting.
- Confidence in managing emergency dental presentations.
- Interest in cosmetic and advanced restorative dentistry.
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
