We are seeking an entry-level to early-career
Storage Operations Clerk for a contingent opportunity (based on contract award) in Australia. In this junior-level role, you will assist with warehouse, storage, inventory handling, and operational support activities supporting ILS2 Task Order execution and Task 2 logistics operations. Working under supervision, you will help manage the receipt, storage, organization, staging, movement, and accountability of mission support equipment, supplies, and sustainment resources within warehouse environments. You will support coordination with cross-functional logistics teams and government representatives to maintain organized, safe, and responsive storage operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Material Handling Assistance: Assist senior staff with the receipt, storage, organization, staging, movement, and accountability of mission support equipment, supplies, and sustainment resources.
- Inventory Record Keeping: Update and maintain inventory records, storage documentation, accountability logs, and operational tracking data under established guidelines.
- Logistics Coordination Support: Help coordinate with logistics personnel, warehouse teams, transportation providers, and staging staff to ensure timely material movement.
- Reconciliation & Shipment Prep: Assist in performing physical inventory verifications, stock reconciliations, shipment preparations, and processing standard material handling tasks.
- Procedural Adherence: Follow standard warehouse procedures, storage safety standards, and accountability controls to support distributed mission execution under direct supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience: Up to 3 years of professional experience supporting demand planning, procurement coordination, provisioning, inventory accountability, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain risk management activities.
- Education: Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree preferred.
- Education/Experience Equivalencies:
- High School Diploma / GED: 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree: 0–2 years of relevant experience
- BA/BS Degree: 0 years of experience
- MA/MS Degree: 0 years of experience
- Doctorate Degree: 0 years of experience
- Competency: Junior personnel typically assist senior staff and perform functional duties under supervision.
- Preferred Credentials: APICS CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, procurement, inventory management, or equivalent supply chain certifications.
