About the Role
We are expanding our EFTPOS and merchant services business across Melbourne and are looking for motivated, outgoing students who want to earn serious money while gaining real-world sales experience.
As a Field Sales Representative, you will visit local cafés, restaurants, retail shops, and small businesses to introduce our competitive EFTPOS solutions . You’ll help merchants switch or upgrade their payment systems, earn attractive commissions on every successful signup, and build your own client portfolio.
This is a flexible, performance-driven role perfect for university or TAFE students looking for part-time work that fits around lectures, exams, and assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and visit hospitality & retail businesses in your assigned Melbourne areas (cafés, restaurants, takeaway stores, gyms, salons, etc.)
- Present our EFTPOS terminals, competitive rates, and merchant benefits
- Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Achieve weekly/monthly sales targets (we provide leads, scripts, and training)
- Accurately complete merchant applications and follow up on deals
- Represent Live Payments professionally in the field
