About ‘The Cat’
We are a small boutique motel, run by locals, located just a short stroll from the beach. Nostalgic retro design meets sunny days, sandy feet and good times! We have six queen rooms and a two-bedroom bungalow.
We're looking for an organised, experienced and autonomous full-time housekeeper to join our team, who will also be able to grow with us.
The successful candidate will be an independent Housekeeper; responsible for the cleaning, turnover and upkeep of all rooms at the Motel, on a daily basis across numerous shifts per week.
About the Role
Days: 4 days
Hours: Somewhat flexible between our check-out and check-ins, shifts usually fall within 11am–3pm (depending on workload).
Note: Most shifts you will work independently and alone.
You will need:
- 1yrs+ working in hotel industry, with housekeeping experience and general interest in the industry
- to be reliable, incredibly organised, responsive and on time, with an eye for detail
- to preferably live locally to Palm Beach (within 20mins) and be able to drive to and from the Motel daily
- to be fluent in English
- a smartphone and capability to use digital technologies/apps
The role is Casual Employment, paid an hourly rate as per the Award, and paid fortnightly, with Superannuation
We are looking for someone with the right energy, who fits the culture of the Motel, has good taste in music and good vibes, and most of all, someone who wants to create and maintain inspiring spaces for guests to stay in!
