Ranger Support Officer

The City of Vincent is seeking a motivated Ranger Support Officer to join our Ranger Services team and play a key role in delivering responsive and effective compliance services to residents, businesses and visitors.
- Fixed term position until February 2027, with a possibility of extension
- Part-time hours (two days per week)
- Salary Range $73,884 to $84,292 per annum (pro-rata) dependent on qualifications and experience

About the Role
As the Ranger Support Officer, you will provide efficient administrative support to the Ranger Services team while delivering a high standard of customer service to the community.
Working closely with the Senior Administration Officer and Rangers, you will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries and complaints, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining records and systems, and assisting with the administration of infringement notices and compliance processes.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
What we’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with experience dealing directly with members of the public
- Demonstrated administrative experience, including preparing correspondence, reports and maintaining accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn specialised systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Experience in a compliance, regulatory or local government environment will be highly regarded
- Experience administering infringement notices, modified penalties or court-related processes will be highly regarded
