LV FITTER - BDSA
BDS Mechanical is seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle (LV) Fitter to join our team in a full-time, permanent position servicing multiple sites across the Roma and Chinchilla regions. BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company providing comprehensive mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding solutions across Queensland and Western Australia. With a network of 22 branches and more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver reliable on-site support and workshop-based services across an operational footprint exceeding 600,000 km².
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- LV, 4X4, Ute experience
- Have own tools
- Heavy rigid license
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works on LVs, 4x4s, Utes
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
