KBR is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Modeller to join our growing Transport Infrastructure team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's most significant transport projects, including rail, road, tunnels, stations, and associated infrastructure that supports connected, sustainable and resilient communities.
Working alongside experienced engineers, designers and project leaders, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical modelling and design solutions for complex transport infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges, project diversity and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
As a Mechanical Modeller, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of mechanical systems across a range of major transport infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed 3D models and design documentation for mechanical services and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, relevant standards and client expectations.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects that shape how people move through our cities and regions, supporting critical infrastructure that delivers long-term benefits to Australian communities.
Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams, including civil, structural, electrical and systems disciplines.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Associate Diploma, Diploma in Engineering, Advanced Diploma, or a related qualification (highly regarded).
Experience modelling mechanical systems such as tunnel ventilation, HVAC, station mechanical services, pump stations, plant rooms, or similar infrastructure systems.
