The Opportunity
Join a future-focused academic team shaping the next generation of digital business professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to contribute to the growth and transformation of UniSC’s Digital Business teaching portfolio, with a particular focus on digital transformation, business intelligence and analytics, artificial intelligence, digital platforms and emerging technologies. You will design and deliver engaging, technology-enabled learning experiences across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, translating complex digital, technological and analytical concepts into accessible, applied learning that reflects contemporary industry practice.
You will also contribute to a vibrant research culture through applied and interdisciplinary research, engaged scholarship, research collaboration and HDR supervision. With opportunities to build meaningful industry and professional partnerships, you will connect contemporary digital business practice with student learning, research and real-world impact. Working collaboratively within the School, you will help drive curriculum innovation and strengthen students’ digital, analytical and professional capabilities for an increasingly technology-enabled business environment.

You will:
- lead innovative Digital Business teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, designing engaging, technology-enabled learning experiences that integrate artificial intelligence, analytics, digital transformation and emerging technologies;
- contribute to research and scholarship through applied and interdisciplinary research, quality publications, research collaboration and Higher Degree by Research supervision; and
- build industry and professional connections that strengthen curriculum, student employability and real-world learning while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing academic environment.
About you:
You are an innovative and engaging academic with expertise in Digital Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, ICT or a related discipline. You bring a passion for contemporary, technology-enabled education and the ability to translate emerging developments in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, analytics and digital platforms into engaging and applied learning experiences.
You are collaborative and industry-aware, with a commitment to student success, curriculum innovation and meaningful research and engagement. You bring the ability to connect academic expertise with contemporary business practice and contribute to a positive, inclusive and high-performing academic environment.
You will possess:
- A doctoral qualification in Digital Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, ICT or a related discipline;
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in digital business, including areas such as digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, artificial intelligence and digital platforms;
- Demonstrated capability in contemporary digital, analytics and AI-enabled tools, with the ability to integrate these into curriculum design, teaching and applied learning environments;
- Demonstrated capability in data-driven analysis and digital technologies, including programming such as Python, R and/or SQL, data modelling and/or machine learning;
- An emerging or established research and/or scholarship profile, including quality publications, research collaboration and/or externally funded research appropriate to career stage; and
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to industry engagement, academic administration and a collaborative academic environment, with a commitment to continuous improvement and student success.
For appointment at Level C, you will also possess:
- Demonstrated academic leadership in learning and teaching, including leadership in curriculum development, course or program coordination, and the design and delivery of innovative, digitally enhanced learning experiences;
- A sustained research and scholarship profile, demonstrated through quality publications, research collaboration, successful research funding and/or
