MACHINE OPERATOR/SETTER

About us
Dunbier Marine is a well-established 50+ years business, well known in the market with the Dunbier and Mackay boat trailer brands. All trailers are manufactured in Melbourne then shipped to our interstate branches, where they’re unloaded and distributed throughout Australia.
We are looking for machine operator/setters for our busy manufacturing facility in Braeside, VIC – Mon-Fri, 38 hours GUARANTEED. We will also consider 3 or 4 days a week for selected people who are currently studying or have visa limitations. The role involves assembly of boat trailer components and assembly onto trailers, and basic mechanical skills are required.
What does the role involve?
- Setting and monitoring machines to ensure they operate in a safe and correct manner
- Some assembly onto trailers
- Quality control
What are the skills and qualities you need?
- Experience in setting and operating machines in a busy manufacturing environment
- Basic mechanical skills
- Able to read drawings
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Be a team player
