About the Opportunity
While this role will ideally be based in Scone, you'll provide relief support across our branches in Scone, Muswellbrook, Merriwa and Denman. No two days will be the same. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside different teams, meet customers from across the Hunter region, and make a positive impact in multiple communities.
When branch travel is required, a Regional Australia Bank fleet vehicle will be provided where available, and approved travel expenses will be covered.
- Working Hours (20 Hours Per Week)
Tuesday: 8:45am – 2:15pm
Wednesday: 9:45am – 2:15pm
Thursday: 9:45am – 2:15pm
Friday: 11:45am – 5:15pm
What You'll Be Doing
As the friendly face of Regional Australia Bank, you'll help create positive banking experiences for our customers by:
✅ Providing exceptional customer service and welcoming customers into our branches
✅ Assisting with everyday banking transactions and account maintenance
✅ Helping customers find products and services that meet their needs
✅ Educating and supporting customers to use our digital banking tools confidently and securely
✅ Building genuine relationships with customers and contributing to a positive community presence
✅ Learning new skills through ongoing training and development opportunities
Most importantly, you'll help deliver the personal service that regional communities value and appreciate.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves helping people and creating positive customer experiences
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
- Is confident learning new systems and processes
- Has strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and reliability
- Is flexible and comfortable travelling between branches when required
- Holds an unencumbered driver's licence
Previous banking experience is not essential. If you have transferable customer service skills and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
