About the Opportunity
As the Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Procedure Room and Medical Imaging you will provide specialised care to patients before, during and after interventional procedures. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will prepare and assess patients, assist during procedures, administer medications and sedation, closely monitor for deterioration or complications, respond to emergencies, provide post-procedure care and education, and ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. In the Hybrid Lab space, previous experience in the Vascular and Interventional Radiology setting is preferred but not essential.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA

Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient-centred nursing care.

Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns appropriately.

Involve patients and carers in care planning, education and informed decision-making.

Coordinate safe discharge and transfer of care, ensuring effective communication.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Maintain accountability, seek guidance when required and practise within scope.

Contribute to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and positive patient outcomes.

On-call availability is required, via a roster system.
