Assistant Practice Manager at Prahran Square Family Clinic
We are seeking a motivated, organized and professional Assistant Practice Manager to join our team.

About the Role
Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the practice, support the team, maintain high standards of patient/customer service, and help drive a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily management and operations of the practice
- Support, supervise and motivate team members
- Banking and invoicing
- Help maintain efficient administrative and operational processes
- Provide a high level of patient/customer service
- Assist with compliance, policies and workplace procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve practice efficiency and workflow
- Support the Practice Manager with general management and administrative duties
About You
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
- Use Best Practice (BʹP Premier) medical software confidently for practice administration, patient management and daily workflows
- Proficient in Excel, including spreadsheets, data management and reporting
- Highly organized, reliable and proactive
- Confident in leading and supporting a team
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional, approachable and customer-focused
- Able to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
- Experienced in practice management, administration or a similar leadership role
- Keen to develop their management skills and take on greater responsibility
- Available to work full days every Monday, Wednesday and Friday : this is an essential requirement of the role
Previous management or supervisory experience is highly regarded.
