BCA Education Group is seeking a passionate and experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess nationally recognised qualifications in the aged care and disability sectors. About the Role
As a Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, conducting assessments, supporting students throughout their learning journey, and ensuring compliance with RTO standards and training package requirements.
Qualifications Delivered
- CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support (or equivalent current qualification)
- CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality face-to-face, online, and workplace-based training.
- Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements.
- Conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments where required.
- Develop and maintain training and assessment resources.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support.
- Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation.
- Participate in validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Standards for RTOs and regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent current trainer qualification).
- Relevant vocational qualifications at least to the level being delivered and assessed:
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support and/or
- Certificate IV in Disability Support (or higher relevant qualification).
- Current industry experience in aged care, disability support, community services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency-based training and assessment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $31.92 – $60.00 per hour
