We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented housekeeping attendant to join our team and help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction our hotel is known for.
About the Role
As a housekeeping attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, apartments, and public areas are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, apartments, and suites to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linen, replenish amenities, and ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Clean bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining overall room presentation
- Report maintenance issues, lost property, and any guest concerns promptly
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and Safe Work Australia guidelines
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in a clean and organised manner
- Assist with public area cleaning when required
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to meet room turnaround deadlines
- A positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
