We are currently seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and well-presented Village Administrator to provide support to the team at Bethanie on the Park Retirement Village, located in Menora.
This role is dynamic and comes with different challenges and opportunities, therefore we are looking for a 'go getter' with a passion for customer service. The Village Administrator provides support to the Village Manager and is a key point of contact for our residents.
You will be available to work Thursday and Friday as this role is offered on Part Time basis working 15 hours per week.
About You
- Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative position, ideally in an aged care or retirement living environment
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
- Provide a high level of customer service to residents, visitors and contractors
- Actively contribute to the development of a community culture within the village
- Respectful and effective management of complaints, compliments and suggestions
- Liaising between residents and contractors as required
- Assist with all aspects of prospective and incoming residents
- Raise all purchase order requisitions and liaise with suppliers
- Supporting the Village Manager in preparing budgets, monthly reporting, coordinating services and managing village matters
- Coordinate with residents and social committee on various items, including arranging catering for functions and distribution of communications such as newsletter
- Other reception and general administrative duties as required
