We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities or other support needs. The role requires proficiency in English, a valid driver's license, and an NDIS Screening Check. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to person-centered care, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social and recreational activities.
- Drive clients to appointments, activities, and other destinations as required.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in the healthcare/assistance industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
