Role overview
This is an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to help shape and drive the go-to-market strategy for our core Everyday Business Banking product lines.
The Marketing Manager will partner closely with internal stakeholders across product, digital, data, segments and broader Business Marketing teams to develop and deliver integrated marketing activity that supports business objectives, raises consideration, drives product acquisition and enhances the customer experience.
This role offers broad exposure across Business and Retail Marketing and is ideal for a strategic marketer who combines commercial thinking with strong execution to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop insight-led product marketing and go-to-market strategies that translate business objectives into compelling value propositions, prioritised initiatives and customer-led growth opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution, optimisation and post-implementation review, balancing speed, quality and commercial outcomes.
- Deliver customer-centric marketing that drives acquisition, engagement, product adoption, cross-sell and retention while ensuring a consistent CommBank brand and customer experience.
- Use customer, market and performance data to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities and continuously optimise marketing through test-and-learn approaches.
- Build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across Product, Segment, Digital, Data, Brand and agency partners to align priorities and deliver integrated outcomes.
- Manage campaign budgets, governance and risk effectively, ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct and driving continuous improvement in marketing capability and ways of working.

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:
- Growth in awareness, consideration and adoption of Everyday Business Banking products.
- Increased acquisition, customer engagement, product usage, cross-sell and retention.
- Delivery of customer-led campaigns that achieve measurable commercial outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder partnerships and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Evidence-based decision making through robust reporting, experimentation and optimisation.
- Effective budget management, governance and operational excellence.
Skills and experience
- 5–7+ years' experience in product marketing, marketing strategy or integrated marketing, ideally within financial services, technology or B2B.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for products or propositions.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, digital engagement and personalised communications.
- Proven ability to translate customer, market and performance insights into commercial marketing strategies.
- Experience delivering integrated through-the-line campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels.
- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of business customer needs and growth drivers.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing across complex, matrix organisations.
- Strong analytical capability, including campaign measurement, performance reporting and optimisation.
- Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple priorities in fast-paced teams.
- Demonstrated budget management and governance capability.
