We are seeking a Grade 3 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to facilitate the triage, assessment and treatment of patients referred to the Hand Therapy Clinic. Our services are patient-focused, efficient and effective, consistently meeting established standards of excellence.
In this role you will be part of the wider Allied Health team and largely work in our outpatient clinics, but may be required to service the inpatient wards including ED if your expertise is required. Our service accepts referrals from all GV Health inpatient and outpatient clinics and metropolitan hospitals for the management of post-operative patients. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with senior medical staff including Orthopaedics, and supervise junior staff undertaking hand therapy interventions.

We are looking for:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Extensive clinical experience and expert knowledge regarding evidence-based hand therapy service provision
Sound understanding of contemporary professional practice in hand therapy, including person-centred care, optimising patient outcomes and safe clinical practice
