Roles and responsibilities include:
- Setting up and arranging resources and tools to facilitate children’s learning and play experiences
- Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children’s social growth and interpersonal skills
- Planning and delivering enjoyable and educational activities for children
- Engage with children through stories, games, and creative entertainment
- Monitoring children during leisure and group activities to ensure safety and engagement
- Managing and overseeing children’s daily schedules, including eating, napping, and rest periods
- Promoting cleanliness and assisting children with hygiene practices
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Working with Children Check Valid First Aid Certificate
- A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Geccko Training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great mentoring and leadership skills
- A passion for providing high-quality childcare and education
Experience: Experience required.
Pay: $30.00 – $46.00 per hour
