What you'll be doing
- Assisting clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming
- Helping clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands
- Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to enhance their wellbeing
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to improving their quality of life
- Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support industry
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle challenging situations
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- A current First Aid certificate and Police Check
- Asian cultural background is preferred but not required
