We power Australia's entertainment, staging, and installation industries with innovative, high-performance products. As we continue to expand our dealer network and international brand portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our commercial growth strategy.
The Role
Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of EVENT LIGHTING's sales and marketing function — developing and executing integrated strategies to grow revenue, expand our dealer and reseller network across Australia and internationally, and strengthen brand presence across the entertainment technology and AV industry.
This role is well suited to a commercially driven leader with experience managing national sales strategies, dealer or channel network development, and integrated marketing execution across digital and offline channels.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and implement national sales and marketing strategies aligned with brand positioning, dealer capabilities, and market demand to drive sustainable revenue growth
- Define sales targets, lead volume objectives, and conversion benchmarks, translating marketing investment into measurable commercial outcomes
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across dealers, AV integrators, production companies, venues, and event organisers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, resellers, and international brand principals
- Direct integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, social media, trade publications, auto shows, and industry events including Event tech and Integrate Expo
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and new product demand
- Manage pricing strategies, prepare commercial proposals, and negotiate supply and distribution agreements
- Introduce and oversee sales funnel tracking and CRM systems to improve lead visibility, conversion rates, and pipeline management
- Control marketing budgets and align spending with sales targets, revenue forecasts, and commercial outcomes
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team to achieve individual and collective performance targets
- Monitor and report on sales pipeline, campaign performance, and key commercial metrics to senior management
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field; or equivalent extensive professional experience in a senior sales and marketing management role may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior sales and marketing management role
- Proven track record in developing and executing national sales strategies, including target setting, dealer or channel network management, and go-to-market execution
- Strong experience in integrated sales and marketing campaign management across digital, PR, events, and co-marketing channels
- Demonstrated ability to align marketing investment with sales targets and measurable commercial outcomes
- Experience implementing CRM systems and sales funnel tracking to drive pipeline performance and conversion
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROI, pipeline, and revenue performance
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English highly regarded for managing international brand relationships
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
