We are a family owned Japanese Take-away/Restaurant looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand and Hall Staff to join us at Hinata Sushi Studio located opposite of Parkdale Station.

Job Description/Requirements and Skills
Preferred: Some background in Japanese language and/or has interest in Japanese culture and food (Business is owned by Japanese family)
-Greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately
-Serving food and drinks promptly, including alcoholic beverages, ensuring accuracy and quality
-Processing cash and card transactions using the POS system
-Cleaning tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining the hygiene of the dining area
-Setting up tables, cleaning and restocking
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
-Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience is essential

Key Responsibilities
-Deliver Food: Carry meals accurately from the kitchen to the correct guest tables
-Verify Order: Check dishes against order tickets to ensure accuracy, proper garnishes, and special dietary requests
-Support Front staff: Clear dirty dishes, tables and help reset areas for new guests
-Washing dishes, cleaning as necessary

Must be available both Friday and Saturday between 11:00am - 8:30pm
Hourly wage (part-time): from $26.44+ superannuation
