In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering high-quality learning and development solutions across Sydney Trains, you will create engaging, innovative, and compliant learning experiences that support organisational capability and performance.
This role will see you partnering with stakeholders to design and develop learning programs, assessments, and supporting training resources using a range of learning technologies and blended delivery methodologies. You'll have the opportunity to work across diverse projects, creating content for both technical and behavioural learning programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and organisational requirements.
You will build innovative learning solutions and engaging learner experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, balancing business needs, compliance requirements, and best-practice adult learning principles. This is a full time fixed term opportunity up until 30th June 2027.

About you
Your instructional design expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and learning development experience gained across learning and development, vocational education and training (VET), corporate training, or related industries will see you excel in designing impactful learning programs that meet business objectives and learner needs. You bring a strong understanding of adult learning principles, compliance requirements, and learning technologies, enabling you to deliver high-quality learning solutions aligned to organisational outcomes.
You're recognised as a collaborative and innovative learning professional, skilled at translating complex information into engaging and effective learning content. Experienced in learning design, assessment development, training needs analysis, and the use of contemporary learning creation tools, you thrive in managing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional outcomes within changing environments.
You will also bring experience developing, implementing and evaluating learning programs, products and training artefacts, along with proficiency in learning content authoring tools and corporate applications. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or successor equivalent), relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent demonstrated experience will support your success in this role.
