Peel Manor House is one of Western Australia’s premier boutique accommodation, wedding and function venues, located just 40 minutes south of Perth. Set on 10.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, we specialise in luxury accommodation, weddings, corporate events, private functions and premium hospitality experiences. We are now seeking an experienced and driven Motel & Venue Manager to lead our operations and continue delivering exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the motel while managing weddings, corporate events and private functions from planning through to successful delivery.
You will lead a passionate team, maintain high hospitality standards, ensure smooth venue operations and provide outstanding customer service for every guest and event.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the motel and accommodation facilities.
- Oversee weddings, receptions, corporate functions and private events.
- Lead, train and motivate front office, housekeeping, food & beverage and events staff.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Coordinate event logistics with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Manage staffing rosters, budgets and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and hospitality regulations.
- Drive occupancy, event bookings and operational excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing a motel, boutique hotel, resort or accommodation business.
- Strong experience managing weddings, functions, conferences or event venues.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Experience with reservations, front office operations and hospitality systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A proactive, hands-on management style with strong attention to detail.
- Full Australian working rights are preferred.
