AZ Connect is a trusted name in telecommunications infrastructure, delivering solutions to major network providers across NSW. As our operations grow, we're looking for reliable, physically capable labourers to join our Cable Hauling crews and our Cable Recovery Crews working out of Western Sydney.
About the Roles:
You'll work as part of hands-on field crews on active cable recovery projects and cable hauling projects across NSW.
Both roles are physically demanding roles with real variety, different sites, different environments, and crews that gets things done. We need reliable workers that show up and who have strong work ethic in both roles.
Responsibilities include:
- Cable Hauling and Cable Recovery: across diverse environments and locations
- Supporting the crews with general site duties
- Maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
- Cable Recovery: Participation in our regular Health Monitoring Program (part of our commitment to keeping our people safe over the long term)
Please note: Theses role requires availability for weekend work and Cable Hauling role can include working away work across NSW and interstate (LAFHA).
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in cable recovery (desirable, but not essential, we'll train the right person)
- Must have previous and demonstrated experience for the Cable Hauler Role: rod, rope and cable hauling
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Physical fitness and a committed approach to safety
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated, you show up and get it done
- Own transport to get you to/from our Western Sydney depot (Company Vehicle pooling to and from site)
- Current Class C Driver's Licence (minimum) for both roles and MR and/ or HR licence for Cable Recovery Role is desirable, or at least a willingness to work toward one is acceptable
- Must reside in Western Sydney close to our Cranebrook depot.

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 50.0 per week
