The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially astute and experienced BMS Project Manager to join our growing Digital Buildings team in Melbourne, Victoria. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of Schneider Electric's Building Management System (BMS) projects across a diverse and expanding portfolio of work throughout Victoria.
Working alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that create meaningful value for our customers. Key Responsibilities

Lead the successful execution and delivery of complex BMS and building automation projects.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including cost forecasts, work breakdown structures (WBS), project schedules, dependencies, and critical path analysis.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Proactively manage project risks, resources, and performance to achieve agreed financial, operational, and customer outcomes.

Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Drive exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, leadership, and project execution.

Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric's safety, quality, and governance standards.
About You

What You'll Bring

Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

Strong project management experience, with PMP certification highly regarded or a willingness to achieve certification within 12 months of commencement.

Demonstrated stakeholder management experience, including direct engagement with end users, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS/BMCS), building automation, or HVAC systems will be highly regarded.

Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated success managing project budgets, financial performance, and construction contracts.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

A proven track record delivering complex commercial construction, building services, automation, or infrastructure projects.

High proficiency with project management and digital tools, including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and related systems.

Strong analytical capability, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
