About the role
The Student Engagement Lead (Student Voice & Scholarships) providesleadership across student voice and scholarships at TAFE Gippsland. The role drives student engagement initiatives including both the Student Advisory Group and the Student Ambassadors program, ensuring student feedback informs decision-making and improves student experience and outcomes. It also oversees the end-to-end scholarships program, including promotion, applications, selection processes, donor engagement and reporting.
Working across campuses, the role builds strong relationships with students, staff and external partners, uses data and feedback to inform improvement, and contributes to strategies that strengthen student participation, belonging and success.
About you
You are an experienced education or community engagement professional with strong skills in student engagement, codesign, program coordination or community development. You are confident working with diverse stakeholders and translating student voice and data into practical improvements.
You are organised, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities, with strong communication and facilitation skills. You are motivated by improving student experience, equity and success, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications an experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in education, community services, social sciences or related field.
- Experience in student engagement, codesign, program coordination or community development within an education, community, or similar setting.
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating programs or initiatives that improve participation, engagement or equity outcomes.
Mandatory requirements
- Current Victorian Working with Children Check
- Current Police Check (not older than 12 months)
- Current Driver’s Licence
