Title of Job Certified Welder (WA) Reports to Manufacturing Manager Division/ Department Manufacturing Location PERTH Last Updated Sept 2024 Role Purpose & Scope Produce TDS products and support to the manufacturing team, and others as required. Occupational Health, Safety and Environment All Employees are Accountable for:
- Taking ownership of their (and their fellow workers) personal health and safety
- Compliance with Tricon Drilling Solutions and where applicable client occupational health, safety and environment systems and procedures
- Participation when required in audits, inspections and investigations on occupational health, safety, and environment matters
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform high-quality welding on a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to complete welding tasks. • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. • Conduct visual and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality and integrity. • Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications. • Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment as needed. • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to workplace safety and hygiene standards.
Essential Desirable
Qualifications • Trade qualifications – Fitter/Welder
- Intermediate computer Literacy
- Relevant post trade TAFE Training
Experience • 2+ years’ experience in similar role •
