About Luggage Direct
Luggage Direct is a well-established Brisbane based luggage retailer with a strong retail and online presence. We specialise in quality luggage and travel goods, and we are looking for a reliable casual driver to support customer deliveries, store transfers and stock movements across Greater Brisbane / Southeast Queensland.
About the role
This is a practical, hands-on casual role suited to someone who enjoys driving, working independently, helping a team and representing a respected retail business professionally. You will use a Luggage Direct company vehicle to complete deliveries, transfers and pickups, while also assisting with loading, unloading and basic warehouse or store support tasks when required.
What you will do
· Complete customer deliveries, store transfers, pickups and returns safely and on time.
· Load, unload and secure luggage and travel goods using safe manual handling practices.
· Complete delivery paperwork, proof of delivery and vehicle checklists accurately.
· Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy and road ready.
· Communicate clearly with managers, store teams and customers.
· Assist with warehouse and store tasks such as picking, packing, stock transfers and housekeeping when needed.
· Follow all road rules, safety procedures and Luggage Direct policies.
What we are looking for
· A current valid driver license. No special truck license is required for this role where the allocated vehicle is within the standard license class.
· A safe, calm and responsible driving style.
· Reliability, punctuality and pride in doing the job properly.
· Ability to safely move bulky items, with help or equipment where needed.
· Good communication skills and professional customer service manner.
· Availability for casual shifts of up to 20 hours per week, including weekdays and peak trading periods.
· Previous delivery, retail, warehouse or logistics experience is helpful but not essential.
