Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
As the Governance Reform Project Coordinator, you will join RANZCOG's Governance and Legal Office, a small, dynamic team at the centre of the College's governance operations. You will provide coordination and administrative support for governance reform activities, committee processes, and governance documentation while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The role is suited to a highly organised professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and is passionate about delivering quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Governance Reform Project Group (GRPG).
- Assists in the development of new policies, procedures, guidelines and governance-related documents relevant to GRPG initiatives.
- Organise forums and engage members in soliciting feedback for any GRPG initiatives.
- Provide high-level administration of governance functions, such as records and information management, ensuring proper classification, storage and disposal of governance recordsto assist the Sr Governance Coordinator.
- Manage internal communication and briefings arising from policy and regulations reviews for the Governance Team.
- Maintain file management of all governance-related documents, such as regulations and departmental policies.
- Providing support to the Sr Governance Coordinator, in facilitation and effective and efficient delivery of all activities pertaining to administrative functions associated with the Governance and Legal office.
- Act as the GRPG Committee Coordinator and liaise with the team in identifying, assessing and proposing initiatives for the GRPG.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in governance administration or an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or experience
- Demonstrable skills in policy development and review.
- Experience in providing administrative support within a health or compliance environment, handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in applying policies and procedures in a regulatory environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail and accuracy, particularly in any board-related notifications and preparation of correspondence.
- Superior time management skills and the ability to use initiative and foresight to meet deadlines and set priorities.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external key interest groups.
- A positive and flexible attitude to workplace responsibilities, with demonstrated initiative and a capacity to work independently and as a member of a team in an environment that deals with sensitive and confidential information.
- Experience and/or an interest in and commitment to issues concerning women's health and familiarity with a health-related service/workplace and health-related workforce and policy issues.
- Proficient use of common computer applications, including MS Office, databases with an ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
