Nextt is looking for passionate Support Workers to join our team in
Cooranbong, providing one-on-one support to a male participant living with a spinal cord injury.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on support, is confident with physical care needs and wants to make a meaningful difference in someone’s day-to-day life.
What You’ll Be Doing
Every day is different, but your support may include:
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living
- Supporting with manual handling, including hoisting, transfers and repositioning
- Assisting with pressure care and maintaining comfort
- Supporting a participant with complex physical needs
- Bowel and catheter care, with willingness to learn essential
- Encouraging independence and supporting personal goals
- Providing companionship and building a positive, professional relationship
Experience with
spinal cord injuries is highly regarded, while experience with
traumatic brain injuries, personal care and pressure care is preferred but not essential. Training and support can be provided for candidates willing to learn bowel and catheter care.
When You’ll Work
We have a range of shifts available across
Monday to Sunday:
- Morning: 7:30am – 11:30am
- Evening: 7:30pm – 9:30pm
- Potential for additional hours
You don't need to be available seven days a week. We're looking for people who can offer
reliable and consistent availability.
What You'll Earn
E3.1 Casual – In-Home and SIL
SCHADS Award rates (before tax incl cas. loading):
- Monday–Friday base: $36.81/hr
- Afternoon: $40.49/hr
- Active Night: $41.23/hr
- Saturday: $51.54/hr
- Sunday: $66.26/hr
- Public Holiday: $80.99/hr
What You’ll Need

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
