About the Role
Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital's renowned Pain Management Service and Peri Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), supporting a busy 16-theatre operating suite and delivering expert care across acute, sub-acute and persistent pain services.
In this role you will:

Deliver expert assessment, care planning and management for patients experiencing acute and persistent pain.

Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to optimise pain management and improve patient outcomes.

Contribute to the Transitional Pain Service, opioid stewardship initiatives and quality improvement activities.

Provide education, mentoring and clinical leadership across nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
About You
-
Endorsed Nurse Practitioner, or working towards endorsement.
-
Significant experience in perioperative, recovery or pain management nursing.

Strong clinical assessment, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
Desirable
-
Graduate Certificate in Peri-Anaesthetic and Recovery Nursing or related specialty.

Experience in acute pain, transitional pain or persistent pain services.
