About the Role
Mad Tiles Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join
our growing team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of residential and commercial
projects and will be responsible for delivering high-quality tiling works in accordance
with project specifications and safety requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing wall and floor surfaces for tiling applications
Measuring and marking surfaces based on plans and specifications
Laying ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tiles
Cutting and shaping tiles to fit around edges, corners, pipes, and fittings
Applying adhesives, grout, and sealants
Repairing and replacing damaged wall and floor tiles
Conducting waterproofing preparation works where required
Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Coordinating with supervisors and other trades on site
Requirements
Relevant qualification or at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
including at least 1 year of recent experience
Strong knowledge of wall and floor tiling techniques and materials
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and organisational skills
Driver licence preferred
Pay: $76,515.00 – $85,000.00 per year
