We are currently seeking a Factory Hand to join a busy steel manufacturing yard based in Ballina. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, starting at 7:00am, working 8-hour shifts. Training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in the manufacturing and construction supply industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding steel products
- Loading steel onto trucks using a forklift
- Loading steel onto pallets
- Packing steel products according to order sheets
- Operating machinery used to manufacture reinforcing bars
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the factory
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Forklift Licence
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol testing
- No pre-existing injuries and ability to safely perform physical duties
