ABOUT THE ROLE:
Melbourne is one of Australia’s fastest-growing logistics hubs, and at MDT Logistics Group we bring structure, efficiency, and leadership to every part of the supply chain. We are seeking a Regional Manager (Victoria, Melbourne) who will take full ownership of regional operations across transport, warehousing, and distribution.
This is not just an operational oversight role—you will be responsible for shaping performance, driving growth, and leading a high-performing team across multiple sites. You will act as the key link between strategy and execution, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strong commercial outcomes.
You are a hands-on leader who understands how logistics really works on the ground, while also being capable of thinking strategically about scalability, efficiency, and long-term growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional Operations Leadership: Oversee transport, logistics, and warehousing operations across Victoria to ensure consistent performance and service delivery.
Performance & KPI Management: Drive key metrics including delivery performance, cost control, productivity, and safety compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams including supervisors, site managers, and coordinators.
Commercial Management: Manage regional budgets, operational costs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence and retention.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable operational improvements across the region.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations meet transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Experience: Proven experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, or multi-site operations management.
Leadership Capability: Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive accountability across operational environments.
Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of transport operations, warehousing, distribution, and freight management.
Commercial Awareness: Ability to manage budgets, cost structures, and operational profitability.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve operational challenges effectively.
Communication: Confident communicator capable of engaging with drivers, warehouse teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
Pay: $11,500.00 – $14,000.00 per month
