We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Referrer Liaison Officer to join our Western Region team and help strengthen connections across the healthcare community.
About the role:
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director - WA, with a dotted line to the National Business Development Director, this role is instrumental in building and maintaining trusted relationships with general practitioners, allied health professionals and specialist practices. You will play a key role in promoting our hospitals' services and supporting seamless referral pathways, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality patient care.
This is a flexible, part time position (2.5 days per week) with travel across the Perth metro area and surrounding regions. A car allowance is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with GPs, practice managers, and allied health professionals
- Promote Nexus specialists and services to enhance visibility and referral confidence
- Coordinate and support CPD events, practice visits and referrer engagement activities
- Represent Nexus at clinical and community events to strengthen brand presence
- Collaborate with hospital teams and the national marketing function to ensure consistent, timely communication
- Gather insights from the referrer community to inform service improvements and strategic planning
What you will bring:
- Experience in GP liaison, medical engagement, or healthcare business development
- Strong understanding of general practice operations and referral pathways
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a relationship-first mindset
- Confidence in working independently and managing a flexible schedule
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- A current driver's license and access to a fully insured, reliable vehicle (car allowance provided)
