Belmont Veterinary Hospital has been caring for pets and their owners in the Greater Newcastle area for over 50 years. We’re a well-established clinic that combines the warmth of a long-standing community practice with modern veterinary medicine. We have a strong involvement in animal rescue and a growing focus on orthopaedics.
Our hospital is well equipped with dental X-rays, vet-tome, tonometer, video otoscope, rigid endoscopy, ultrasound, and a full orthopaedic setup including TPLO. You’ll also be supported by an experienced orthopaedic surgeon who enjoys mentoring and sharing their knowledge.

We are currently searching for our next super-star Full-Time Veterinarian to join the team!
Applicants should have the following:

Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia

Ideally at least 3 years of clinical experience

Ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients

A positive ‘can do’ & friendly attitude

A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
