The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the flow of projects from commencement through to completion. The role acts as the central point of communication between builders, internal staff, external detailers, engineers and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time and with all documentation maintained.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously from award through to completion.
- Schedule work and allocate projects to internal / external detailers.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Follow up outstanding information required to keep projects progressing.
- Prioritise workloads based on builder requirements and production schedules.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison
- Act as the primary contact between builders, site supervisors, project managers and the detailing team.
- Liaise with external detailers regarding project progress, queries and deadlines.
- Coordinate communication between engineering, estimating, drafting and production teams.
- Respond promptly to client enquiries and provide project updates.
Documentation & File Management
- Create and maintain electronic project files.
- Ensure all plans, revisions, engineering documents, purchase orders and correspondence are accurately filed.
- Maintain document version control and distribute revised drawings to relevant parties.
- Prepare project documentation for production and manufacturing.
- Keep project management software and registers up to date.
Scheduling & Administration
- Maintain project schedules and delivery timeframes.
- Track outstanding approvals, RFIs and variations.
- Coordinate meetings and record action items where required.
- Assist with workflow planning to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare reports on project status and workloads.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure documentation is complete before projects are released.
- Check project information for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain company procedures for document control and record keeping.

Position: will commence as casual with a view to permanent
Hours: Days and hours flexible for right candidate. School hours could be accommodated
Pay: $33.71 – $37.50 per hour
